In His Presence 하나님의 임재 가운데

Whether it’s standing in store or airport lines, or waiting on hold minute after minute, our lives are full of moments like these, times when we could get annoyed. Or these can be times when we catch our breath and see each of these pauses as an opportunity to learn to “walk in the light of [God’s] presence”(Psalm 89:15).

The “wasted” moments of our lives, when we wait or lay ill or wonder what to do next, are all possible pauses to consider our lives in the light of His presence. [Harold Myra(guest writer)]


상점이나 공항에서 줄을 서 있든지 아니면 몇 분씩 계속 기다리고 있든지, 우리의 삶은 이 같은 순간들로 가득 차 있습니다. 그런 순간들은 짜증나는 시간일 수도 있겠지만, 한편으로는 우리가 숨을 가다듬고 “[하나님의] 얼굴 빛 안에서 다니는”(시 89:15) 것을 배우는 기회로 여길 수도 있습니다.

우리가 기다리거나 병에 걸려 누워 있거나 다음에 무엇을 해야 할지 고민할 때 ‘낭비되는’ 우리 삶의 순간들은, 모두 다 하나님의 임재에 비추어 우리의 삶을 돌아볼 수 있는 순간들입니다.
