사울도 나도 ‘뜻밖의’ 은혜를 입은 사람입니다.
대부분의 사람들은 자신이 잘못되어 있다는 것을 압니다. 하지만 그들에게 필요한 것은 잔소리가 아니라 용서에 대한 희망입니다. 엄한 표정이나 날카로운 말들은 그들이 희망을 볼 수 없게 막아버립니다. 아나니아처럼, 아니면 나의 볼링장 주인처럼, 예수님을 따르는 사람들은 다른 사람들의 삶을 바꾸어놓을 수 있는 그 만남의 순간에 은혜의 얼굴을 보여줄 수 있어야 합니다.
