창조적인 소수가 되라

< 창조적인 소수가 되라 >

    너희 중 한 사람이 천 명을 쫓으리니
    이는 너희의 하나님 여호와 그가 너희에게 말씀하신 것 같이
    너희를 위하여 싸우심이라 (여호수아 23:10)

 이스라엘의 사사 시대를 보면 사사가 다스리는 동안에는 평화가 있다가 그가 죽고 나면 백성들이 또 죄악에 빠지고 그로 인해 주변 이방 민족들의 지배를 받는 일이 반복해서 생겼다. 그런 역사적인 사실은 믿음을 가진 한 명의 인물이 얼마나 중요한지를 잘 보여 준다. 성도는 특별히 3가지를 힘써야 한다. 첫째, 인물을 달라고 기도하는 것, 둘째, 인물이 되는 것, 셋째, 인물을 길러 내는 것이다.

 인물이 되고 인물을 길러 내기를 힘쓰라는 말은 창조적인 소수가 되라는 말이다. ‘인물이 되는 삶’의 반대 개념은 ‘유행을 좇는 삶’이다. 다수가 가는 길로 생각 없이 따라가면 인물이 되기 힘들다. 소수의 길이라도 자기만이 갈수 있는 길을 갈 때 결국 인물이 된다. 믿음을 가지고 열심히 살고 있다면 소수의 길로 가는 것을 두려워하지 말라. 다수가 소수처럼 되고 소수가 다수처럼 되는 일은 비일비재하다.

 소수가 다 좋은 것은 아니다. ‘진실해서 소수가 되는 것’과 ‘나태해서 소수가 되는 것’은 다르다. 나태하게 살면서 소수가 된 것은 희망이 없지만 진실해서 소수가 된 것은 희망이 많다. 소수라도 그 소수가 예수 믿고 인물이 되면 된다. 때로는 한 명의 인물이 수천 명의 사람보다 더 큰 영향력을 발휘한다. 하나님이 주신 사명을 따라 소수의 길로 간다면 하나님은 그 소수에서 인물이 나오게 하실 것이다. ‘재미를 찾는 다수’보다 ‘의미를 찾는 소수’가 역사를 선도하는 메이저 그룹이 된다.

    하나님! 창조적인 소수의 삶을 두려워하지 말게 하시고
    하나님의 뜻을 따라 의미 있는 삶을 살게 하소서

< Be a Creative Minority >

   One of you routs a thousand,
   because the LORD your God fights for you,
   just as he promised. (Joshua 23:10)

 Looking at the period of the judges of Israel, there was peace while the judges ruled, but after he died, the people fell into sin again, and as a result, it happened repeatedly that they were ruled by the surrounding nations. Such historical facts show how important one person who has faith is. The believers should especially strive for three things; first, praying for a great person, second, becoming a great person, and third, cultivating a great person.

 To strive to become a great person and cultivate a great person means to be a creative minority. The opposite concept of a life of being a great person is a life of following trends. It is difficult to become a great person if you follow the path that many people take without thinking. Even if only a minority of people take, they eventually become a great person when they follow the path that only they can go. If you live hard with faith, don't be afraid to go down the path of the minority. It is common for the majority to become like the minority and the minority to become like the majority.

 Not all minorities are good. Being a minority because of truth is different from being a minority because of laziness. Those who live in laziness and become a minority are hopeless, but those who live in truth and become a minority are hopeful. Even a minority can achieve great things if that minority believes in Jesus and becomes a great person. Sometimes one person has more influence than thousands. If you go on the path of the minority according to God's mission, God will make a great person come out of that minority. The minority who seeks meaning rather than the majority who seek fun becomes a major group leading history.

   God! Let me not be afraid of the lives of the creative minority
   and live a meaningful life according to God's will.
