형제자매처럼 Sister To Brother

 

젊은이에게는 형제에게 하듯 하고 늙은 여자에게는 어머니에게 하듯 하며 젊은 여자에게는 온전히 깨끗함으로 자매에게 하듯 하라 [디모데전서 5:1-2]

Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity. [ 1 TIMOTHY 5:1–2 ]

사람들을 바라보는 시선은 그들을 대하는 방식을 결정합니다. 이성을 쉽게 물건 취급하고 성적 대상으로 여기는 이 세상에서 상대방을 가족과 같이 바라본다면 그들을 배려하고 예의 있게 대하는 데 도움이 됩니다. 건강한 형제와 자매라면 서로를 학대하거나 잘못된 성적 유혹에 빠지지 않습니다.

How we see people determines how we interact with them, and in a world quick to objectify and sexualize, viewing the opposite sex as family helps us treat them with care and propriety. Healthy brothers and sisters don’t abuse or seduce each other.
