A Thrill of Hope 황홀한 소망

Both the shepherds in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago and the sailors on board the United Fruit Company ships in 1906 heard an unexpected, surprising message of hope on a dark night. And God still speaks that same message of hope to us today. A Savior has been born for us—Christ the Lord!(Luke 2:11). We can join the choir of angels and believers through the ages who respond with “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests”(Luke 2:14). [Amy Peterson]


2천 년 전의 베들레헴 목자들과 1906년 유나이티드 청과회사의 배 위에 있던 선원들은 모두 깊은 밤중에 예상치 못한 놀라운 소망의 메시지를 들었습니다. 그리고 하나님은 오늘도 여전히 우리에게 같은 소망의 메시지를 전해주십니다. 우리를 위해 구주가 나셨으니 곧 그리스도이신 주님이십니다!(눅 2:11). 우리는 천사들과 여러 세대를 이어온 믿는 자들의 찬양대에 동참하여 이렇게 화답할 수 있습니다. “지극히 높은 곳에서는 하나님께 영광이요 땅에서는 하나님이 기뻐하신 사람들 중에 평화로다”(14절).
